Bajo la tutoría del maestro Adalber Gaviria Rivera, Juan Felipe ya ha tenido la oportunidad de presentarse en diversos festivales como el Festival Internacional de Música Universitaria (FIMU) en Belfort, Francia; Pastojazz, el Carnaval de Negros y Blancos,
Festival Centro, Colombia al Parque, entre otros. En 2022 ganó el concurso Jóvenes Solistas, de la Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de Colombia, y en 2023 ganó el concurso Jóvenes Intérpretes, del Banco de la República. Actualmente, Juan Felipe es integrante de
la Banda Filarmónica Juvenil de Bogotá.</div>
